Glen Maye - Mast Maintenance

IndustryThe Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority has been notified of planned maintenance work on the Glen Maye mast which may affect users TV signal.
The maintenance will take place between today between 9am - 5pm.
Further updates will be published if there are any changes to the works.

19/24: Spectrum Call For Expressions Of Interest

IndustryThe Authority has issued a call for Expressions of Interest by parties for radio frequency spectrum for the purpose of providing electronic communications network and electronic communication services and associated facilities. The Call for Expressions of Interest is the initial step taken by the Authority to ascertain the level and nature of the demand.
The deadline to submit interest is Tuesday 1st October 2024.

18/24: Information Notice: Universal Service Obligations Review

IndustryThe Authority has published Information Notice 18/24 regarding its intentions to review the Universal Service Obligation in the Isle of Man's telecom market. It is the intention of the Authority that the review will be in the form of a public Consultation. The review is expected to commence in Q1 of 2025.

IndustryThe Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Authority) has today published Information Notice 16/24 in regards to a deadline extension of the CLI Consultation.
The deadline for submitting a response to the Consultation has been extended to 25th August 2024.

Planned Mast Maintenance - Douglas, Laxey and Port St Mary- 15th July 2024 - 26th July 2024

IndustryThe Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority has been notified of planned maintenance work on the Douglas, Port St Mary and Laxey masts which may affect users TV/Radio signal.
The scheduled maintenance will take place between 10am to 4pm beginning on 15th July 2024 with an estimated completion of 26th July 2024.
Further updates will be published if there are any changes to the works.

EMERGENCY Douglas Mast Maintenance - Fault on Transmitter - UPDATE

IndustryUpdate as of Monday 10th June 2024 - The emergency repairs have been completed.
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority has been notified of planned emergency maintenance work on the Douglas mast which may affect users TV/Radio signal.
The emergency maintenance will take place between 10am to 4pm beginning on 4th June 2024 with an estimated completion of 14th June 2024.
The maintenance is to replace a broken part on the transmitter.
